Tax Credit for Home-Support Services for Seniors (38% to 40%)
People aged 70 and over can now more easily stay in their homes, thanks to Revenue Quebec's monthly or annual reimbursement of expenses related to homecare services.
This refund will increase to up to 40% in 2026. Whether you need specialized care, help with household tasks, or home maintenance services, all these expenditures are eligible for Revenue Quebec's tax credits.
Tax Credit for Childcare Expenses (Tax credit of 67% and more)
The fees paid for childcare services may qualify for a refundable tax credit, with the amount determined based on family income, the number of children, their age, and other criteria. Advance payments may be available under certain circumstances. The credit cover at least (minimum) 67% of eligible child care costs.
SERVICE EMPLOYMENT PAYCHEQUE ALLOCATION PROGRAM
The Service Employment Paycheque Allocation Program provides homecare support hours for people with reduced autonomy, covering tasks like cleaning, meal preparation and personal care. With this program, you are responsible for hiring and managing the caregiver's hours. Feeling overwhelmed?

A CLSC social worker or occupational therapist will evaluate your needs and assign homecare hours, potentially provided by Bien Chez Soi.
